Residue is formed partly due to non-uniform particle size whereby larger diameter particles form part of the stream. If particles are uniformly sized and you have a consistent spray pattern, you should minimize the chances of residue formation.
A key determinant of residue formation is the amount of time a person spends spraying a target object. We recommend using a figure S movement while applying the disinfectant at an average walking pace. If you see “runs”, then you are over saturating the surface by applying too much disinfectant. You can reduce “runs” by walking faster or changing to a smaller micron nozzle if its available.
